"Stroke Awareness Day falls this year on Tuesday 12 May. This is a European-wide initiative developed through The Stroke Association's membership of the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE); stroke awareness activities will be taking place simultaneously in member countries all over Europe. To mark the day, The Stroke Association is planning a range of exciting activities around the UK.
