"Results of the EUROASPIRE III study highlight how cardiologists are not prioritising prevention programmes for high-risk individuals who have already presented with heart disease. Since the last EUROASPIRE study, smoking in young women and obesity across all ages has increased, with no reduction in blood pressure despite an increase in antihypertensive prescribing.
