Georgia Lipid Academy to target rural Georgia health care providers

Yet cardiovascular illness is also avoidable, and preventing it is a major public health priority. In recognizing the scope of this problem, the Georgia Division of Public Health is implementing a cutting-edge training program for Georgia's healthcare professionals who deal with cardiometabolic illnesses that include diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart disease, and related disorders.
