Slocum-Dickson sues St. Elizabeth over cardiac business (USA)

"Slocum-Dickson Medical Group in New Hartford has sued St. Elizabeth Medical Center and three other defendants, seeking $102 million in damages over its assertions the hospital wrongfully siphoned cardiac patients away from Slocum-Dickson physicians since the 1990s. The lawsuit, filed April 14, also asks a state Supreme Court judge to grant a permanent injunction preventing St. Elizabeth from interfering with patients’ right to choose their physician. 'This is a battle that's been going on for nine or 10 years,' said Dr. Stephen Eadline, the president of Slocum-Dickson Medical Group"
