Stem cell hope for heart patients comes to India
"The ultimate hope of regeneration and repair of heart muscle through stem cell therapy might actually be inching closer to reality as clinical trials involving use of specially cultured cardiac muscle cells in chronic heart failure patients begins in Belgium. What's more, the global trials are proposed to be conducted on heart patients in Ahmedabad which is pending Drug Controller General of India, New Delhi.
