Africa Tobacco Control Regional Initiative launched

A multinational effort to promote aggressive tobacco control measures across sub-Saharan Africa has been announced. The Africa Tobacco Control Regional Initiative is aimed at promoting the adoption, implementation and enforcement of tobacco control policies, legislation and programs. The American Cancer Society and Cancer Research UK are taking part in the effort
