Idea competition for health staff in Guernsey

Healthcare staff in Guernsey, Channel Islands, are being offered thousands of pounds to come up with innovative ideas to improve healthcare in the Bailiwick. The winning project idea will receive a GBP3,000 bursary from the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands. Last year, cardiac rehabilitation nurse Sophie O'Connell took the top prize. Her winnings are being used to develop her proposal, which is related to improving the rehabilitation of heart failure patients. This year's winner of the annual competition will be announced on 5 November
